Gates and Security
In 2012 we were approached by Ross Web Architects do design and make these beautiful steel doors for the new Flavours of Langham hotel shop in Auckland. Measuring 1.5 metres tall and weighing over 180kg the doors took 6 weeks to complete.
We have completed a number heritage projects throughout New Zealand with clients ranging from Auckland city council to the New Zealand Historic Places Trust.
We have completed a number of balustrades ranging from local private homes to luxury super yachts.
In 2017 we were commissioned to create some copper gates and hand rails for a private garden in Coatesville.
This decorative balustrade was designed for a luxury super yacht Mine Games in collaboration with Patrick Knowles Interiors (USA) and Robinson Marine Interiors (NZ). Containing an extremely high level of craftsmanship, the balustrade descends 3 metres over a 360mm radius and contains hundreds of individually hand forged scrolls and leaves, ground and filed to remove visible signs of welding. To ensure all of the angles were perfect, a frame was constructed in the studio. This allowed us to make it to fit the exact space on the yacht as there was no opportunity to test fittings - installation needed to be completed in one day.
Since 2014 we have been working from our forge in Oratia, West Auckland, in that time we have completed hundreds of projects for Local and international clients. Here are a few snapshots of some of our work in progress.

We have produced a number of handrails over the last two decades. From simple clean lines for modern homes to Sculptural handrails that stand out in the landscape.
